3 ways to become a great person

I was driving on the highway the other day when I saw the plate with a picture of Christopher Reeve on it. The caption read simply, "the great man." Riding the tragic incident people may remember him immortal interpretation of Superman, but they will never forget his tireless efforts on behalf of disabled people everywhere. That left him paralyzed also gave wings to improve on her physical limitations, and this does not mean that it was not difficult for him, which is even thinking of committing suicide at some point. So, made me think, what are the characteristics of what has made him strong to this point?
Courage. Most of us shy away from challenge. Maybe we do not like confrontation, or perhaps we just want to take the path of least resistance. But there comes a time where we, individually, must face the fears of the deep. Can you accept a job that pays you in the middle of the road across the country. Or walk on the relationship which must be completed before a decade. All that remains for you to enjoy and your life must be studied and evaluated and implemented. No one will do it for you. Be brave.

Optimism. Never heard of this analogy the old glass full / half half empty? Well, that's right. You have a chance 50/50 of being a positive or negative. Whose side are you on most of the time? Negative thinking and can usually be very difficult to break. But the good thing is, it is easy to determine. How? Occur positively. Act positively. Replace the negative self-talk with inspirational messages that you tape to the mirror and the outline of the day. And before you know it you will think positively. Work prior to the situation. Good attitude is contagious, so surround yourself with people who are optimistic and encouraging.

Right to self-determination. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? A person without a goal, such as the bus without a driver. Do not let the constraints, whether real or perceived, and you keep your goal. And do not listen to those who say, even if sometimes you think it must be right. If there is something important to you, and stick with it. You will be amazed at what you can do.

A bit of a hero in every one of us. Sometimes it takes an unexpected event to bring out the champion. Sometimes, we can not help someone else see this hero in their own right.
